Chase
JPMorgan Chase, a longtime
supporter of JA of South Texas, recently provided
financial support to operate programs at Collins
Garden, Ed Cody, and Sarah King Elementary
Schools. Annually, JPMorgan Chase provides all the
volunteers for programs at Ed Cody Elementary
school as well. Our thanks to the JPMorgan
Chase Foundation, JA Board Members Tony Cooper and
Jennifer Stewart, and everyone at JPMorgan Chase
for making this partnership successfull.

Information on Understanding
the Financial
Crisis
In our quest to arm volunteers and educators
with additional resources and increase the
relevancy of our educational content during these
troubling economic times, JA is pleased to
announce the release of the second critical issues
paper focusing on the U.S. economy. JA
Worldwide commisioned Dr. Raymond Lombra,
Professor of Economics at Pennsylvania State
University to write this paper entitled
Understanding Stock Market Fluctuations: The
Turmoil at the Heart of the Capitalist
System. This paper provides both a
primer on how the stock market operates and an
analysis of the impact the U.S. economic crisis is
having on the market.
