Thank You to Kohl's
A-Team Volunteers
All five of
the San Antonio area Kohl's stores joined us on September 18th for
our first Kohl's Bowl-a-Thon. Over 100 associates came together in
support of local JA programs, and their combined donation was
$8,500! Thank you to the following stores for your focus on
community involvement: Northwoods, Forum Northeast, Bandera Pointe,
San Antonio West, and New Braunfels.

School Program:
JA Be
Entrepreneurial
 Introduced
this fall, JA
Be Entrepreneurial challenges students to create all
the essential components of a functional business plan. Students
learn to recognize characteristics and practices of successful
entrepreneurs, as well as evaluate a product idea and gain a
competitive advantage in the marketplace. By seeing the broader
picture of how a business in managed, students will be able to
demonstrate business-planning skills for venture start-up,
marketing, financing, management, and ethical decision-making. We
are encouraging the next generation of business owners to help
themselves be equipped and educated for success, but we need
volunteers to share their own stories of entrepreneurship! Call

REMINDER: Tickets
Are Available for the AT&T Championship
 Held
annually at historic Oak Hills Country Club, this year's AT&T Championship will
be October 23-25. The JA office will be selling tickets and
100% of your purchase price will be donated to JA! You get a good
deal and support a great cause.
Choose from $10 Good-Any-Day tickets (50% off
regular price) or $25 Weekend Passes (50% off regular price). For
the ultimate fan, prime seats are available in the Champions Club's
skybox overlooking the 18th hole. Day tickets are $75 or $180 for
all three days, and tickets include catered lunch, snacks and an
open bar.
This PGA Champions Tournament includes some of
golf's greatest legends. Scheduled to play are Ben Granshaw,
Ray Floyd, Fred Funk, Jay Haas, Tom Kite, Bernhard
Langer, Hal Sutton, and many more!
