JA Special Events

JA Special Events serve as fundraisers for JA.  Individual participation and company sponsorships make them successful in all respects. 

At JA of South Texas, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students. Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support JA's mission while having a great time.

BUSINESS HALL OF FAME

Junior Achievement holds an annual awards dinner where local business leaders are recognized for their contributions to the community.  The Business Hall of Fame is an event held in San Antonio and Laredo.

BOWLING

 JA's Bowl-A-Thon is a great event for everyone, and you don't have to know how to bowl. Meet your coworkers, family and friends out for a great time at your local bowling center. 

GOLF

If golfing is your more your speed, we have two different events in the San Antonio area: the JA Golf Classic and the JA Par-Tee at Topgolf.

RACING

You will need to get your running shoes out and carb-load for this event.  The Harbor Half Marathon and Relay in Corpus Christi is just the event to get your blood pumping.

CLAY SHOOT

The Aim High Sporting Clay Shoot is a unique event held in the Corpus Christi area.  This event requires skill and will challenge your quick reflexes.
