JA Fiscally Fit Camp

ARE YOU READY FOR THE REAL WORLD?

Today’s headlines are full of gloom and doom. Young Americans are being crushed by debt, lack of savings and emergency reserves. For the first time in American history, millennials are the first generation to be worse off financially than their parents.  Young Americans need to learn to manage their finances before another generation becomes shackled by debt with no hope of upward mobility.  Are your kids ready? JA can help answer that question this summer!

ARE YOU READY FOR SUMMER?

This summer, JA is going to help get your child ready for the real world in just one week at JA Fiscally Fit Camp! Throughout the week, campers will build friendships, discover their potential, explore career opportunities and identify what it will take to succeed in their futures!

ARE YOU READY FOR TO BE AN ADULT?

At Fiscally Fit Camp, campers will practice what it’s like to be an adult in a hands-on simulated experience where they learn to create a balanced family budget in a real life setting of businesses, shops and financial institutions.

Using their personal strengths and interests, real life simulations and interactive technology, campers will develop a plan to reach their personal and career goals.

ARE YOU READY TO HAVE FUN?

Team building activities coupled with valuable instructional money management skills.

Experiential learning activities designed to help students plan for what happens when they “grow up” in an exciting new way.

ARE YOU READY TO LEARN?

Campers will also utilize career exploration tools to learn about their interests and work values and will research career choices, including STEM careers and entrepreneurial opportunities. Campers will learn about the costs of college and how education after high school is an investment in their future. They understand their education and career decisions will impact their income potential and quality of life.
